Citizen participation in the Smart City strategy phase

Our citizen participation phase started on 09.03.2022 with the aim of receiving direct feedback and ideas from citizens. Citizens had the opportunity to evaluate our goals and measures in the Smart City project and share their views with us via a specially created participation platform of the City of Jena. In addition, digital and analog workshops were offered on topics relating to the overall strategy and fields of action. In these workshops, there was a direct exchange with those responsible.

Citizen participation in the implementation phase

Involvement and participation are key elements of our project. That is why the involvement of Jena's citizens does not end with the completion of the strategy. We want to continue to involve the urban community in the Smart City process during the implementation phase and will also offer suitable analog and digital formats for this purpose.
