Initiative:“Multifunctional Chat System”
We are expanding our digital services to include a multifunctional chat system capable of processing both text and voice input. This is our response to the growing demands of urban society for user-oriented public administration and faster access to information.
The chat system translates bureaucratic language into easy-to-understand text, promotes citizen participation, and assists users in finding information and accessing services and participation opportunities. Technically, it utilizes state-of-the-art AI technologies to analyze inquiries, retrieve relevant data, recognize cognitive patterns, and provide precise, context-sensitive responses. Visual representations such as charts and infographics are automatically generated to convey complex information visually.
A key added value is the ability to forward unanswered questions to city staff, thereby enabling personalized assistance. The chat system is developed using open-source software to ensure transparency and sustainability. The source code is available on the Open CoDE platform to enable other municipalities to use and further develop this solution.
This chat system transforms communication and interaction between citizens and city administration, makes information more accessible, breaks down barriers, enhances integration and inclusion, and promotes sustainable decision-making.
