"Digitalization & sustainability practice transfer project" measure

In practical transfer projects in cooperation with the two universities, students are developing sustainable, digital solutions for our city with the support of experts from business, science and administration.

Milestones achieved

• Prof. Dr. Michael Wessel appointed as endowed professor for "Business Informatics, E-Commerce and Digital Business" at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena at a ceremony. Endowed professor for e-commerce appointed (uni-jena.de)
• the "Practical Module Digital Economy" will enter its fourth round in the winter semester 2024/2025
  • around 40 students work on sustainable solutions during a semester project together with 6-8 practice partners
• the "Digital Economy Practice Module" will enter its fifth round in the winter semester 2025/2026
