AI regulars' table JENA.AI: Impulses for no-code, vibe coding and smart city

On October 21, 2025, Jena Digital e. V. together with the Thuringian Center for Learning Systems and Robotics invites you to the 17th Developer Round Table for Artificial Intelligence "JENA.AI" at the JEDI - Jena Digital Innovation Hub (Engelplatz 8) from 5 pm.

The format brings together experts from development, research and application to discuss practical AI concepts, learn from each other and shed light on current challenges.

The focus is on topics such as

• Machine Learning,
• Large language models,
• AI agents and
• collaborative systems - with the aim of not only using artificial intelligence, but actively shaping it.

To kick things off, Stefan Wagner, CEO of mvolution GmbH and co-founder of Joyful Digital and spaces360.io, will provide insights into the world of no-code and vibe coding. Using a practical example, he will show how modern AI tools can be used to develop your own applications - without any traditional programming skills - and invite discussion on the opportunities and limitations of this new development culture.

In the second impulse, Oliver Mothes from the Smart City Project Jena will talk about AI-based solutions that were developed at the Hack-the-Paradise hackathon in the summer. He will explain how these ideas can be implemented sustainably and rolled out in the Smart City Jena project - and how participants can build up practical AI skills in the JENA.AI.Live format in future.
