Experience digitalization professionally and practically in schools: The Jena school portal (jsp) is being further developed as an accessible, individually and institutionally customizable portal ("digital desk") based on open source with all digital services and interfaces available for parents, students and educators at the school and in Jena. Currently, the jsp is a collection of services and information based on an open source platform (Univention). An interface system and a style sheet for the portal's CMS are missing in order to link the services and applications with each other.

In future, all users should be able to access the portal according to their status and expand and modify "their" portal in the sense of a personal, device-independent learning environment (PLE) according to their own learning and working style. In addition to the centrally provided services (mail service, Nextcloud, Jenaer Schulmoodle, OX, prospective video conferencing and messenger solution, grade recording, etc.), school-specific functions (e.g. the learning management system used in each case, connection to info points in schools) will also be integrated and individual tools (note services, bookmarkers, student portfolios, etc.) organized.

It is also possible to connect the school authorities for individual support (e.g. applications for school transport, contracts for loan devices, procurement of parent-financed mobile devices, applications for school support).
