Moderator spricht vor Publikum mit einer Präsentation zum Hackathon "Hack the paradise!"


Hackathons such as the "Jenathon" or the "JenaVsVirus" camp have already helped to sensitize civil society to the city's problems in the past and to actively work together on solutions. This format will be developed further in order to develop digital solutions together with experts from business, science, administration and urban society.

  • Start: June 2023 "Hack the Paradise"

Milestones achieved
  • First hackathon organized and carried out together with the Lichtwerkstatt, Friedrich Schiller University in June 2023 with the main topic: "Urban data platform & sensor technology"
  • Initiation of the "Open Bike Sensors" project (being implemented at the ADFC)
  • Second hackathon in June 2025 in cooperation with Lichtwerkstatt Jena, Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the Thuringian Center for Learning Systems and Robotics (TZLR), with a focus on artificial intelligence
  • Continuation of projects currently under review
  • Next hackathon in 2026 in preparation
