"Multifunctional chat system" measure

We are expanding our digital offering to include a multifunctional chat system that can process both text and voice input. This is our response to the growing demands of urban society for user-oriented administration and faster provision of information.

Multifunktionales Chatsystem

Stefan Schwarz/Dall-E3

The chat system translates official language into easy-to-understand texts, promotes citizen participation and supports the search for information as well as the use of service and participation offerings. Technically, it uses state-of-the-art AI technologies, analyses queries, retrieves relevant data, recognizes cognitive patterns and provides precise, context-dependent answers. Graphical representations such as diagrams and infographics are automatically generated to convey complex information visually.

A particular added value is the forwarding of unanswered questions to city employees, which makes personal advice possible. The chat system is being developed on an open source basis to ensure transparency and sustainability. The source code is published on the Open CoDE platform to enable other municipalities to use and further develop this solution.

This chat system transforms communication and interaction between citizens and city administration, makes information more accessible, breaks down barriers, increases integration and inclusion and promotes sustainable decisions.
