Measure "Jena Digital Werkstadt as a digital innovation and cooperation space for our city"

The Jena Digital Werkstadt should not only become a place for analogue encounters, but also offer opportunities in the digital space to get to know the city's innovation drivers, find project partners, develop joint ideas and hold public cultural and specialist events in hybrid form in the future Cultural and specialist events in a hybrid format in future. We want to offer our city's digital economy and science a virtual stage that will serve as the first point of contact for people from all over the world and symbolize the digital and technological spirit of Jenathere in Jena. This linking of analog and digital spatial concepts corresponds to the thematic focus of the overall measure, which is intended to pave the way for the "metaverse".

Milestones achieved

• Actually, industry partners are working together with the city, Jena Digital e. V. and Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences a joint research proposal to secure funding for the technology platform outside of the Smart City pilot project.
