As a result, citizens can handle their administrative matters digitally and use the services of the city network around the clock. Digitizing work processes and administrative services saves resources, minimizes environmental impact, and shortens processing times. The goal is to create offerings that allow the city’s residents to identify areas for improvement and express their preferences regarding new digital services. In addition, new digital offerings are intended to facilitate the flow of information, communication, and transactions between the administration and the city’s residents. The digital transformation of the administration can positively impact the quality of life for Jena’s residents.
What does the Smart City project aim to achieve in Action Area 5?
