Visit from Schmölln: Ideas for lively city centers

On 14.04.2025, the team led by Sara Delinger-Parčetić from ProbierLaden welcomed a small delegation from Schmölln. The guests were Julia Waldmann (Schmölln Economic Development Agency), Carolin Fallgatter (local consultant in the agathe program) and Carolin Krüger-Kratsch (interested citizen from the region).

The aim of the visit was to gather inspiration and ideas for the revitalization of vacant stores on the Schmölln market. As part of a project entitled "ExperimentierBar", an initial citizen participation meeting was held on March 25 in the Schmölln council chamber, where concepts for new, revitalized locations in the city centre were developed.

In the ProbierLaden, the delegation learned about the concept, development, financing and response to the Jena project - and took the opportunity to openly discuss the opportunities, challenges and possibilities of creative inner city design.
