ProbierLaden nominated for the Thuringian Demography Award 2025 - vote now!

The ProbierLaden has been nominated for the Thuringian Demography Award 2025 "HEIMAT:Thüringen!". This gives the Jena project the chance to become visible throughout the state and send a strong signal for commitment, digital participation and innovation in our city.

What is the ProbierLaden about?

The ProbierLaden is part of the Smart City Jena project and is run by the Jena Adult Education Center / JenaKultur. It offers all citizens low-threshold access to digital technologies - free of charge, without registration and simply by passing by.

• Advice and trying out digital technology
• Strengthening digital skills for all age groups
• Mobile advice from the ProbierMobil at central locations in Jena

In this way, the ProbierLaden makes an important contribution to digital participation and social cohesion in our city.

Your vote counts!

Of the more than 50 projects submitted, 14 made it to the voting phase - including the ProbierLaden. The public will now decide who will win the Thuringian Demography Prize 2025. The prize is endowed with a total of 30,000 euros.

You can cast your vote online until September 28, 2025. Every vote strengthens the ProbierLaden and thus also the idea of an open, digital urban society.
